DXF sketches
Section titled “DXF sketches”- File › Open, set the type to DXF, and choose the file.
- In the DXF/DWG Import dialog, choose Import to a new part as 2D sketch, and millimeters as the unit.
STEP solids
Section titled “STEP solids”File › Open, set the type to STEP, and choose the .step. Each solid
becomes an imported body. To get editable features from it, run
FeatureWorks (where available) on the imported body;
Prismatic conversion makes holes it can
recognize.
