Files and folders
The app is sandboxed: it can read and write only what you give it.
Opening
Section titled “Opening”- Mac: drop files or folders on the window or the Dock icon, ⌘O, or Open With in Finder.
- iPad and iPhone: +, drag from the Files app or another app, or open from the Files app. Files dropped from another app arrive as copies in ShapeMason’s Documents folder (in the Files app, under ShapeMason).
Folders add every supported file inside, sorted, and are remembered so the app can reopen them.
Saving
Section titled “Saving”Outputs go next to each input, or into the folder chosen with Save To. Saving next to a file needs permission for its folder: the first time, the app asks (“Allow ShapeMason to save in …?”) and opens the folder picker there, then converts again just the files that couldn’t be saved.
Set text has no file to sit beside, so without a Save To folder the app asks where to save.
Remembered folders
Section titled “Remembered folders”Settings › General lists the folders ShapeMason may use: inputs, the Save To folder, an extra fonts folder, and folders you allowed for saving. Remove one to stop using it.
