DXF sketches
Section titled “DXF sketches”- In a Part Studio, start a sketch on a plane or face.
- Use Insert DXF or DWG in the sketch toolbar, and import the file if it isn’t in the document yet.
- Choose millimeters as the unit.
STEP solids
Section titled “STEP solids”Use Import (on the Documents page, or the + menu at the bottom of a
document) and choose the .step. Onshape translates it into a Part Studio
with one part per solid.
Recipes
Section titled “Recipes”Onshape treats meshes as reference only, like Shapr3D, so converting is the way to edit a downloaded mesh there.
