Web app

Open shapemason.com. Nothing to install, though you can install it as an app so it opens in its own window and works offline.

Mac and iPad/iPhone app

ShapeMason runs on macOS 15 or later, and iPadOS and iOS 18 or later. The Mac app is signed and notarized by the developer. The iPad and iPhone app is coming to the App Store. See the app for what it does.

CLI

Prebuilt binaries for Linux and Windows (x86_64 and arm64) are attached to each GitHub release. Download the archive for your platform, unpack it and put shapemason on your PATH.

On macOS, or anywhere with a Rust toolchain, build it from source:

git clone https://github.com/Nearly-Done/shapemason
cd shapemason
cargo install --path crates/cli

Check it works:

shapemason --version

Then see the CLI for shell completions and the Finder Quick Action.
